Greetings!

Everyone deserves safe, quality, and affordable housing in a community of their choice.  This is your opportunity to be part of history by participating in and promoting Michigan’s first Statewide Housing Plan.  The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) is spearheading this effort working with 35+ organizations across the state.

A survey is being conducted to help identify housing issues to inform the statewide housing plan’s priorities and strategies.  We ask that you get the news out and share the invitation flyer with your members and customers, as applicable.  We are seeking input from renters, landlords, homeowners, and potential homebuyers with this survey. The survey is open until April 11th.

To be successful, the plan requires a collaborative, statewide, data-driven approach that identifies and provides steps on how to overcome our housing challenges.  These are complex issues that cannot be resolved overnight or in a vacuum.  With stakeholders in the housing industry working together, we can identify and implement solutions that will result in meaningful changes at the individual, neighborhood, community, regional and state levels.
