Michigan’s seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate has held steady in the latest report from the state.
Governor Rick Snyder has agreed with a review team’s findings and determined Wayne County is in a financial emergency. The decision comes less than 24 hours after the state-appointed Financial Review Team determined that the county with 1.8 million people is in a financial emergency.
Frankenmuth’s Star of the West Milling Co. has been named the “2015 Michigan Agriculture Exporter of the Year.”
