Michigan’s monthly unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest point in nearly 15 years, the state said. The Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget said the seasonally adjusted jobless rate for January was 4.9 percent.

Wages for Michigan’s technology-industry workers lag those of their counterparts nationwide by an average of 24.3 percent, according to a report released by CompTIA.
