Michigan employees earning minimum wage rang in a new rate of pay with the new year on Friday, when minimum wage bumped up to $8.50.
On December 4, President Barack Obama signed the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act. The FAST Act reauthorized the federal gas tax that pays for some (but not all) of the nation’s transportation programs and provides additional funding for the next five years for a variety of transportation-related projects.
