Taylor Kelsaw and Michael McCallum have a discussion about the connection that the performers across Michigan have and the community that has developed. They are working with each other more and more, and narrowing those six-degrees-of-separation. One of the new generation of directors is Bret Miller. Bret is a director who came out of Michigan State University with his first feature “Some Are Born”. He describes taking previously written material and developing it into the vision of a film, starting it while a senior in college. Bret describes the plot of that movie, and how that movie has done out on the awards circuit, and film festivals, and where it has been distributed.
