TAM certification is an alcohol server training program designed to prepare individuals for the responsible management of alcohol sales, consumption, and distribution. Here are some key points:
It equips servers, bartenders, and waitstaff with knowledge and skills to handle the risks associated with serving alcohol.
In some states, such as Michigan, it is legally required to hold an alcohol certification to serve drinks
Certification is valid for three years, after which recertification is required.
