LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council Tuesday released the following statement in support of federal infrastructure legislation being debated in Washington, D.C. as President Joe Biden visits Howell to discuss his Build Back Better agenda.

“We’re excited to welcome President Biden back to Michigan as he advocates for federal funding to advance our state’s economy,” said Dr. Laura Sherman, president of the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council. “Michigan businesses have provided good-paying jobs to Michiganders as they led our state’s shift to an advanced energy economy. Through federal investment, we stand to build on the success of the industry, creating even more jobs and ensuring Michigan can continue to deploy advanced energy solutions.”
