Michigan Celebrates Small Business (MCSB) is launching the Michigan’s Next Big Idea – 2026 Pitch Competition, and we’re looking for innovative, high‑potential companies to take the stage at the MCSB Summit for a shot at $10,000 and statewide visibility.

Why Throw Your Hat in the Ring?

You’ll showcase your business at Michigan’s premier small‑business event—connecting with industry leaders, investors, and fellow founders—while competing for funding to accelerate your next phase of growth.

Who Should Apply?

Michigan‑based businesses with fewer than 500 employees that offer a unique product, service, or solution and are ready to scale.

What you’ll submit (about 30 minutes to complete):

• A 2‑minute video pitch
• A 1‑page business summary (PDF)
• A financial snapshot (last 12 months)
• A statement of impact (PDF)
• A few focused questions about your innovation, market opportunity, financial readiness, scalability, and community impact
  
  

Applications close February 27. Five finalists will be announced on March 25 and those lucky businesses will make their pitch LIVE at the MCSB Summit on April 21 where a judging panel and the audience will help select our winner.
