While on hand for the Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) Buy Nearby event in Traverse City, Jeffrey spoke with Traverse City Mayor, Michael Estes, about the campaign, Buy Nearby, which has been going on statewide, and making a stop in Traverse City, along within the neighboring counties.
It has been a great campaign that has helped in the growth of Traverse City and surrounding counties. There are also excerpts of the event, which highlights the importance of investing in the community, and it was noted that retail accounts for one out of every four jobs in the State of Michigan.
