Thanks for coming on Matt, how is the Farm Bureau working for Michigan Agriculture and small business?

Matt, tell us about some of the work the Farm Bureau is doing right now. -Congress is working on the 2023 Farm Bill. For folks who aren’t familiar, tell us more about what the Farm Bill does, and what Michigan Farm Bureau’s involvement is with it?

-How does the Farm Bill impact people outside of agriculture?

-Labor concerns continue to be on the minds of farmers. Can you tell us about the challenges farmers are facing and some of the ways they’re overcoming labor shortages?

-Finally, I know we got off to an extremely dry start to the summer. How are things shaping up for growers right now?
