The Food Bank Council of Michigan is bringing together Michigan’s top agriculture and food security leaders, policymakers, and elected officials to discuss the U.S. Farm Bill 2023 and celebrate Michigan’s investment in effectively addressing food insecurity through the budget.

They did so on Wednesday, August 23, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at MSU Horticulture Gardens, North Garden & Conservatory, East Lansing, MI.

The Farm Bill is vital to Michigan farmers and families, as our nation’s largest and most important piece of food and farming legislation. U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow joins the Food Bank Council of Michigan and Michigan farmers to discuss the bill’s importance. State Senator Sarah Anthony will also join in to speak in celebration of the historic investment in food security in Michigan’s state budget.
