Experience for Hire

Experience for Hire is a collaborative project intended to rethink hiring in Michigan by connecting employers with experienced, qualified job seekers age 50 and over who are seeking full- or part-time opportunities to put their valuable skills to work.

Experience for Hire leverages the connections and capacities of partner organizations to help employers match with Michigan’s growing mature workforce to find qualified job seekers for available positions. The program provides employers a convenient opportunity to interview applicants who bring valuable experience, require little job training, and are open to a flexible schedule.
