Chris catches up with Tony Vernaci, Vice President, Global Business Development, MEDC, out of Lansing, MI, while he is on the road to Texas. Mr. Vernaci was attending the MRO Americas show in Dallas. (MRO stands for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.)

They discuss the following very interesting and exciting information:

• This is an aerospace industry event that MEDC became aware of during their visit with Kalitta Air, in Oscoda, in early February and are attending as their guest.
• There are 10 Michigan aerospace companies exhibiting at the show. MEDC is traveling there to support Michigan’s aerospace industry.
• They were meeting with those companies to discuss the strength of industry, future trends and what the state needs to do to continue supporting the great growth we have been experiencing.
• While in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area they were also planning to call on some key aerospace companies in the market promoting Michigan.
• MEDC will also take the opportunity to meet with the headquarters of Michigan based operations from various industries.
