Chris Holman welcomes Stephen Rapundalo PhD, President & CEO, MichBio, Ann Arbor, MI. MichBio represents the interest of pharmaceutical and bio-technology companies.
Stephen talks about how the association is working to bring together the education side of things with the industry side of things. He shares again how MichBIO’s mission encompasses broad industry sub-sector representation including pharmaceuticals and therapeutics (human and animal health, generics and OTCs), medical devices, diagnostics, research tools, informatics (healthcare and bio-informatics), nutritional health (nutriceuticals), clinical research, industrial biotechnology, and bio-fuels and bio-agriculture.
In fact as they approach the organization’s 25th anniversary they are quite busy with events coming up including BIO Legislative Days Fly-in in Washington DC and later in Lansing during April, and more events including a World Conference which they will play a role in during early June 2018 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
