U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow will participate in a virtual discussion on the legislative response to COVID-19 including the CARES Act, its business and operational implications (e.g., PPP), post-pandemic business restart and economic reopening, and other legislative initiatives of interest to the broader biosciences industry.
 
 
Michigan could not ask for a greater champion of the biotechnology industry than our own U.S. Senator, Debbie Stabenow. It’s why the Michigan Biosciences Industry Association and the Biotechnology Industry Organization named her an Innovator in Biotechnology in 2018.
 
Through her leadership on the U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, Senator Stabenow has shaped innovative legislation-broadening the scope of agriculture policy to place new emphasis on innovation and biobased manufacturing.
 
And as a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee, Senator Stabenow has been a champion for us when it comes to health care innovation, biologics, and the next generation of treatments and cures.
