How to Adapt and Innovate in Today’s Uncertain Environment

On July 15, at the Urban Tech Xchange, MichAuto Board Chair Lisa Lunsford, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Strategic Supply Solutions, participated in a panel discussion on “Adapting and Innovating in America’s Reindustrialization.”

Lunsford focused her remarks on the challenges of bringing new supply chains and manufacturing to the U.S., given the uncertainty associated with constant shifts in tariffs and trade policies.

 

Michigan Students Showcase Their Solar Car Journey

On July 17, MichAuto followed students across Michigan as they traveled from the Spirit of Detroit to Michigan Technological University, a MichAuto investor, in a solar car they built with Heroes’ Alliance.

Chamber PAC Endorses Mike Duggan and His Ground-breaking Run as an Independent for Michigan Governor

The Detroit Regional Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) announced its endorsement of Mike Duggan for the 2026 Michigan gubernatorial election. Under Duggan’s effective leadership, Detroit has experienced remarkable revitalization and has become a national model for urban turnaround, and the Chamber PAC is confident he will bring the same results-focused leadership on a statewide scale.

With a quorum of PAC members present, the decision to endorse Duggan was unanimous.
