According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nine people are killed by distracted driving accidents in the United States every day, and taking your eyes off the road for only two seconds doubles the chance for a collision. The Kiefer Foundation is tackling the problem head on, campaigning to end distracted driving and all associated traffic deaths and injuries with its “Just Drive” initiative.

If you have not yet registered, join MICHauto on Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 11 a.m. for Town Hall: The Push to End Distracted Driving in Michigan to hear more about the Kiefer Foundation’s work and the push for hands-free driving legislation in Michigan.
