Expanding Internship Opportunities Across Michigan’s Mobility Industry
MichAuto and the Detroit Regional Chamber Foundation awarded the University of Detroit Mercy’s College of Engineering and Science a $125,000 grant to enhance internship opportunities in Michigan’s mobility industry, fostering skill development and future workforce readiness through its Readying Professionals in Mobility program.
Additionally, YouthTank Detroit’s Mobility Leadership Lab received a $90,000 grant to empower local youth through internships that equip them with vital technology and entrepreneurship skills, ensuring they actively lead in the mobility revolution.
Both programs are designed to significantly elevate capacity for internships and career exposure within the mobility industry and strengthen our talent pipeline, ensuring that critical positions are filled, fostering a thriving ecosystem where innovation and growth can flourish.
