Crowdfunding Campaigns Ending Soon!

Earlier this month, The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, in junction with the Detroit-based crowdfunding platform, Patronicity, announced “MI Local Biz”, a creative funding mechanism to offer quick access to capital for small local businesses in this great time of need.

 
The MEDC will match crowdfunding raises on a 1:1 basis up to $5,000 for eligible small businesses experiencing economic challenges as a result of COVID-19.

Four Bay County businesses have now been selected by the MEDC to participate in this program. Campaigns are ending soon, don’t wait to support these businesses:

The businesses of Base Camp have always been happy to help her community and now she needs help to continue offering services due to mandatory COVID closures.

Maybe you have traveled the Saginaw River with us in the past, maybe you have yet to visit; either way, we sure want to be here for you this summer! Our regular schedule includes live narrated history tours, relaxing Saturday afternoon cruises and popular entertainment cruises with live bands and dinner. We all need the natural therapy provided by outdoor enjoyment and relaxation while the stressful COVID situation persists here in Michigan. We believe #lifeisbetteronaboat. Unfortunately, our small family businesses is hampered by a short season and limited resources.
