Support Bay County Businesses!

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with the Detroit-based crowdfunding platform, Patronicity, has developed “MI Local Biz”, a creative funding mechanism to offer quick access to capital for small local businesses in this great time of need.

The MEDC will match crowdfunding raises on a 1:1 basis up to $5,000 for eligible small businesses experiencing economic challenges as a result of COVID-19.   We are excited to announce that three Bay County businesses have been selected by the MEDC to participate in this program! Bemo’s Bar   Bemo’s Bar Campaign   Bemo’s Bar has been a local fixture for art, live entertainment, and supporting great musicians for many years now. Rob & Luann can’t wait to open back up and keep rocking with all their great customers!    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all revenue has stopped for this small, family owned business. We want to be sure that we can reopen as soon as possible, and bring you great service with additional safety measures in place. 100% percent of funds raised will go into making the bar bigger, better, and safer for all our staff, performers, and customers.   This campaign will collect all funds raised by June 30, 2020 8:00 PM.
