MEDC logoSK Siltron CSS Opens $300M Manufacturing Facility in Bay City

SK Siltron CSS recently opened a new manufacturing facility in Bay City. The new facility is part of a $300 million expansion the company announced in July 2021 with critical support from the MEDC, which will both double the company’s Michigan workforce and quadruple its manufacturing capacity over the next several years. As a global leader in semiconductor wafers, SK Siltron will help fortify the electric vehicle (EV) supply chain in the state of Michigan, working to lay the foundation for an end-to-end supply chain that will enable the U.S. auto industry to embrace the transition from internal combustion engines to EVs.
