Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center Brings Supply Chain Support to Manufacturers
 
 

The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) debuted CONNEX™Michigan, a new program designed to strengthen the local and domestic manufacturing supply chain. CONNEX™ Michigan is a powerful online manufacturer database and connectivity platform provided as a no-cost resource for Michigan manufacturers. It’s designed to let manufacturers connect with each other, find local and domestic suppliers, explore production capabilities, and manage their supply chain.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Calling all Suppliers for Consumers Energy Meet the Buyer Event
 
 

Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) is partnering with Consumers Energy to host a virtual matchmaking event. The event will include a webinar presentation on how to do business with Consumers Energy, followed by pre-scheduled buyer-supplier one-on-one meetings. Consumers Energy is looking for businesses of all sizes, with a focus on diversity-owned suppliers. Purchasing needs include construction services, engineering services, manufacturing services and products, and more. Interested suppliers should submit an application for one-on-one meetings by Feb. 18.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Michigan Ranks High in Workforce Development and Skilled Trades Training
 
 

Michigan is recognized as a top state for workforce development by Site Selection magazine in its 2022 Regional Workforce Development Rankings report. The ranking reflects Michigan’s success in building out the state’s strong talent pool.
