The U.S. Commercial Service, MEDC, and the U.S. Embassy in Japan have joined forces to organize the Focus Japan: Michigan Automation and Robotics Showcase for companies looking to expand sales and build relationships in Japan. Five Michigan companies will be selected to make live presentations of their innovative solutions to Japanese manufacturers, distributors, and agents. Applications are due September 17.

Get 2022 Expenses Reimbursed Now

As we look forward to returning to in-person trade expos, remember to leverage MI-STEP grants to pre-pay exhibition space and booth fees, and put money back in your pocket sooner than later. MI-STEP funds may reimburse 75 percent of these expenses up to a year in advance for international trade shows or domestic shows with at least 20 percent international attendance. Don’t wait to get reimbursed; talk to your International Trade Manager about submitting a MI-STEP grant application today.
