Eligible activities for MI-STEP reimbursement now include the cost of international certification audits up to 75 percent.

Beginning last year, qualified companies received reimbursement for obtaining international certifications such as ISO, AS9100, and CE marking, to help expand their capacity to sell in global markets. New this year, the cost of completing audits to maintain these certifications is now STEP-eligible. Talk to your International Trade Manager today about applying for a grant.

Automotive and Mobility Roundtable

Automotive- and mobility-sector companies are invited to join MEDC, Ann Arbor SPARK, and MSU International Business Center for a virtual roundtable discussion to share insights into challenges and successes of entering new markets. The discussion aims to inform moderators of how export programs can be better aligned to support this industry in 2022 and beyond.

This virtual event will be held February 10, 9 am-10:30 am, and is open to up to 20 companies statewide. If you are interested in participating, please contact your International Trade Manager.

Virtual ExporTech Returns

U.S. Commercial Service, Van Andel Global Trade Center, and MEDC’s International Trade Program invite manufacturers and technology firms with products/services with at least 51 percent U.S. content to apply to this virtual export training program. Conducted online over six workshops and individualized coaching sessions, ExporTech accelerates a company’s strategic export planning process into a concise timeframe.

Hannover Messe Trade Mission Registration Now Open
 
 

Join the Michigan booth at one of the world’s largest trade shows dedicated to the topic of industry development. Discover new products and groundbreaking solutions along the entire industrial value chain, including applications in industrial automation, IT/information communication technologies, energy and environmental technologies, process/production engineering and R&D.

The theme “Industrial Transformation” describes the effects that the megatrends of individualization, climate protection, and digitization are having on industry.
