Greetings 2021 Awardees,
We are excited to celebrate your successes on July 20 at the 17th Annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business Awards Gala at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
MCSB encourages you to send in two short, authentic videos of you and your team. Details can be found in the updated 2021 awardee instructions. For your convenience, the instructions are also below.
MCSB requests two 30-second videos of your company answering one of the first three questions and the last question. Please provide two video clips.
- What does being selected for this award mean to you and your team?
- How has your small business shown resilience over 2020?
- Can you share an example of one thing your business has done to assist your community during 2020?
- Last Question: How will you celebrate this award?
Specifications for the 30-second videos:
- Please answer in complete sentences
- Videos to be submitted in MP4 file format
- Videos to be filmed horizontally / landscape mode- Try to keep camera stable
- Please try to be in a somewhat quiet place to avoid background noise
- Ideal backdrop will be your business, storefront, alongside products – a visual that showcases what products/services you provide
- Videos should be submitted by June 4 and uploaded to a Google Folder – Here. Please make sure the video file name is your company name.
Video submissions will be used for special marketing and promotions both pre and post-gala. Many of the company videos will also be shown for enjoyment during the event.
