Customer Spotlight Ray C’s Cycle and Sports

A love of sports cycling is what motivated Ray and Janet Clemens to purchase a Sports Craft business in 1981. It did not take long to realize that customers who were enthusiastic about motor sports were more likely to ride other types of motor sports vehicles and need equipment and accessories.   Their business soon expanded into the award-winning Ray C’s Cycle and Sports, Inc. selling and servicing new and used street bikes, side by sides, 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, wave runners, clothing, and merchandise.   Over the years they outgrew their original location and now wish to incorporate their Harley Davidson dealership to have everything under one roof. By executing this they realized that a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan was just the ticket. The professionalism of Mike Ufford and the entire MCDC staff made it an easy, free-flowing process.   By the Summer of 2022, the Clemens were showing off their newly renovated 15,000 square foot expansion at 1491 S. Lapeer Road in Lapeer. Combining Ray C’s Cycle and Sports with the Harley-Davidson Dealership resulted in greater efficiency and allows Ray and Janet to better serve their clients.
