MCDC Cares Program
The staff initiated MCDC CARES Program again collected funds and went shopping for local families in need. The need for giving was heightened this year as so many families have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Gift giving can be exciting as it brings joy to both the giver and receiver. MCDC Administrative Assistant Jenna Patterson led a small group of shoppers in buying gifts and necessary items for families identified by a local charitable organization. In conjunction with 504 Servicing Specialist Sheila Fales and 7(a) Loan Associate Emily Kirby, they basked in the bliss of the generosity exhibited by the full team as they shopped, wrapped gifts and made the deliveries.
Total employee contributions for the 2020 holiday season were matched by the company and exceeded last year’s total. “Even with the challenges faced by everyone throughout 2020, the MCDC Team again displayed the giving spirit and the true meaning of the Holidays.” stated President Mark Williams. “I am so proud of this extraordinary team that has given so generously of both time and money.”
