Jeffrey Mosher welcomes back Carrie Rosingana, , CEO, CAMW! Capital Area Michigan Works!, Lansing, MI, but serving Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties. This time catching up with her on the road at the Lansing Center for an event in early December 2024.

His questions cover MiCareerQuest Capital Area happening Tuesday, Dec. 3, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Lansing Center 333 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI 48933. The pair held their conversation early that afternoon in the middle of the event.

Details: Capital Area Michigan Works! and its T3: Teach. Talent. Thrive. council ‚Äî a network of connected assets supporting education and talent development ‚Äî are hosting MiCareerQuest Capital Area to introduce Michigan high school students to high-demand, high-wage jobs in the Lansing area. 

For the first time in the event’s history, a free public session will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. to invite additional students, parents and community members to explore career paths and connect with local professionals. Morning sessions one and two have over 2,000 students attending from area schools. Over 70 local businesses will participate in the event as industry exhibitors and highlight career paths in the capital region’s top industries. 

CAMW! CEO Carrie Rosingana and T3 Education Officer Amirika Richardson will be available for interviews and will comment on the event’s impacts on the region’s youth and employers. Media is invited to enter the event space to capture images, including shots of students entering and exploring the Banquet Hall.
