Mike Finney, who in July 2011 was the head of MEDC joined Chris Holman for Michigan Business Network’s (MBN) first day of broadcast. The pair discuss the optimism in the business community that was coming up as the state turned a corner from the ‘Great Recession’. They also talk to what the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and Governor Snyder administration were doing to help the economy. Efforts in economic gardening are covered, and Mr. Finney also points to the new-at-that-time commitment by major utilities to be involved in “Pure Michigan Business Connect”.
