Matching Skilled Labor with Great Employers

Economic DevelopmentChris speaks with ‎Colin Dillon, Supplier Relations Specialist, at Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). MEDC and especially PMBC are on the move with a lot going on. They’ve identified the need to be a broker to match skilled labor with great employers.

Chris and Colin recap the recent Ford Supplier, Power Hour, held July 15, in Dearborn, Michigan. Key individuals with Ford were introduced to a ‘shark tank’-style presentation of 3 minutes, and 5 minutes for Q&A. Larger PMBC are coming up, and continue to connect Michigan companies with other in-state resources, while also keeping them aware of world-wide opportunities.
