LANSING, Mich. – Maner Costerisan is continuing to build on its reputation as one of the nation’s top accounting firms to work for, earning a No. 10 ranking in the midsized category of Accounting Today’s 2025 Best Firms to Work For list. This recognition marks the 10th consecutive year the Lansing-based public accounting and business consulting firm has earned a place on the national list.

Maner also stands out as the highest-ranked midsized firm in Michigan. This year’s leap from No. 24 to a top-10 spot reflects the firm’s steadfast dedication to cultivating a workplace that values growth, flexibility, and connection — a rare achievement in an industry where retaining top talent is a growing challenge. “Reaching the top 10 after a decade on this list is incredibly meaningful,” said Trey Williams, CPA, president of Maner Costerisan.

“It validates that our long-term investment in our people and culture is working, and it energizes us to keep building on that momentum. Our team’s dedication and engagement drive the quality service we provide to clients, and this recognition reflects that strength.” The annual Accounting Today program, now in its 18th year, evaluates firms across the country based on in-depth reviews of workplace policies and confidential employee surveys.

The midsized category includes firms with 50 to 249 employees. Maner Costerisan’s culture is rooted in supporting employees both professionally and personally. Initiatives like career advisor programs, generous paid time off, parental leave, wellness reimbursements, and its Maner Costerisan Cares community outreach program have helped foster an environment that attracts and retains talent while deepening client service. “Our focus is not on chasing recognition but on doing right by our people,” Williams added.

“The fact that our approach continues to resonate year after year tells us we’re on the right track.” The 2025 Best Midsized Firms to Work For list can be found here.
