Lt. Gov. Gilchrist Announces Recipients of $15M Equitable Mobility Challenge

The announcement was made at the inaugural Mobility Conference hosted by the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification in Detroit 

Since taking office, Governor Whitmer and Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist have announced three key initiatives to support innovation in Michigan: Naming the first ever Chief Innovation Ecosystem Officer, establishing a state-wide shark-tank-style competition called PitchMI, and launching ‚ÄúInfrastructure for Innovation.‚Äù Each of these initiatives has established Michigan as a leader in innovation, growing our economy and ensuring entrepreneurs and innovators know they have a home in Michigan to pursue their dreams.

NewLab Building at Michigan Central Station, Detroit, MI, for the U.S. Center for Advanced Manufacturing’s Innovation Summit 2024:  Fostering Collaboration in US Manufacturing.
