LANSING, Mich. (March 3, 2021) – The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter at LCC has been named a 2021 REACH Chapter by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The award celebrates the LCC PTK chapter for its ability to excel in membership development and bring the life-changing benefits and opportunities of PTK membership to students on LCC’s campus.

The PTK mission focuses on recognizing the academic achievement of college students and providing opportunities for them to grow as scholars and leaders.

“We are extremely proud of our Mu Tau Chapter and the great work they have done during a very challenging time,” LCC President Steve Robinson said. “To achieve this level of recognition during a year of unprecedented turmoil speaks to the resiliency of our students, faculty and staff. This proves they are ready to meet the challenges of the world they will step into.”

PTK membership includes the opportunity for scholarships, increased engagement with peers and faculty on campus.

Congratulations to the LCC Mu Tau Chapter on this prestigious recognition.
