Nomination process now open
LANSING, Mich. Feb. 27, 2024 – Lansing Community College and the Lansing Community College Foundation will honor one outstanding alumnus with the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award. The LCC Distinguished Alumni Award has been established for the purpose of honoring an alumnus who has made outstanding contributions to their career and their community through volunteer service. The 2024 Distinguished Alumni winner will be announced by March 30, and recognized at LCC’s 2024 commencement ceremony on June 9, 2024. Nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award may be submitted online here. Nominations may be submitted by family members, coworkers, fellow alumni, and others who could testify to the nominees’ achievements. Nominations may also be self-submitted. The deadline for nominations is TODAY, March 13.
The Distinguished Alumni are selected by the LCC Foundation Alumni Committee and representatives of Lansing Community College. 
The 2023 Distinguished Alumni was Nicole Noll-Williams (left). She has served as the president and CEO of the Capital Region Airport Authority since 2021. As CEO, Noll-Williams is responsible for operating the Captial Region International Airport and Mason Jewett Field.
Previously, Noll-Williams spent almost three years as the mid-Michigan regional director for U.S. Senator Gary C. Peters, and more than 25 years in the aviation industry with experience in air service development, airline management, and contract management. Until 2018, she was the director of marketing and passenger development for the Capital Region Airport Authority.
