Event at Jackson Field will feature games, giveaways and financial education for kids

WHAT: LAFCU’s ‘Laff-e & Friends’ event will feature six stations with kids games related to savings and financial education, LAFCU’s official mascot, Laff-e, giveaways, a chance to run the bases, and a finisher’s medal. Learn more:https://www.lafcu.com/laffeandfriends

WHERE: Jackson Field |505 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912

WHEN: Sunday, July 9 | Approx. 3:30 p.m. – immediately following the 1:05 p.m. Lansing Lugnuts game

WHY: This event kicks off LAFCU’s new youth program for kids up to age 11. Laff-e & Friends aims to help kids learn about saving money.

ME INFORMATION

Station #1 – Laff-e the Cow: Moo-ve Your Money Cornhole Game

Goal: Help Laff-e save money!

Station #2 – Pig E. the Pig: Count the Coins Game

Goal: Always looking for ways to make a buck. Pig E. is wealthy and works hard for his money. See how much you can save.

Station #3 – Patty the Chicken: Fill the Basket with Eggs Game

Goal: Stylish and caddy. This chick is a material girl and loves to spend her money. Help Patty collect some eggs to earn money for the things she needs.

Station #4 – Bucky the Horse: Save Your Bucks Ball Game

Goal: Studious and logical, Bucky is the go-to friend for advice on smart ways to save and spend money. See how much you can save.

Station #5 – Rascal the Rat: Catch Rascal Relay Race Game

Goal: A trickster who can often be found picking on Laff-e. Rascal is always causing trouble. We need to catch him before he spends money.

Station #6 – Big Lug: Stack the Baseballs Game

Goal: Help our friend Big Lug the dinosaur and have fun stacking some baseballs. Work together and see how many you can stack.
