Zehnder’s Snowfest 2026 will again dazzle and excite with snow and ice sculptures created by professional ice and snow carvers from around the world. Zehnder’s Snowfest is also host to the Alumni Collegiate Ice Carving Challenge and the State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Competition. In addition, Zehnder’s Snowfest will have entertainment for the entire family in the warming tent, a fireworks display, petting zoo and children’s activities. John was one of the creators who was there 35 years ago when the event concept was first brought to life.
The free event typically runs for several days in late January/early February; offering family fun with fireworks, a petting zoo, kids’ activities, food contests, and live entertainment alongside impressive artistic creations. The 2026 festival is scheduled for January 28 – February 1, celebrating its 35th year.
