Free May 30 mixer to help entrepreneurs market their businesses
LANSING, Mich. — For many entrepreneurs, having a strong business idea is only the beginning. Knowing how to tell that story, reach customers, and build visibility can be the difference between getting started and gaining momentum.
That will be the focus of Marketing Matters, the next session in the Entrepreneurship Mixer Series hosted by LAFCU and Grassroots Giving Lansing. The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at LAFCU headquarters, 106 N. Marketplace Blvd. in Lansing. It is open to aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs.
This session will focus on marketing fundamentals, helping entrepreneurs understand how to effectively promote their business in its early stages and grow their footprint. Attendees will gain insight into practical strategies for building brand awareness, reaching customers, and developing a marketing approach that supports long-term business growth.
“Marketing is one of the most important tools entrepreneurs can use to build visibility and attract customers, especially early on,” said Brook Jones, commercial lending officer at LAFCU. “This event is designed to provide practical information and real conversations that entrepreneurs can take back and apply right away.”
Attendees will enjoy lunch, authentic conversation, and networking with local business leaders. Registered participants who attend will also receive a free professional headshot to support their business and personal brand.
