Bay Future Staff Message

Bay City, MI – Bay Future, Inc. announced that President & CEO Jim Reaume (left) will be stepping down from his role effective October 23, 2025. Under his leadership, Bay Future has strengthened its position as a catalyst for growth, business investment, and community development across Bay County.

During Reaume’s tenure, Bay Future advanced numerous transformative projects, expanded partnerships, and enhanced its ability to support local businesses. The organization has seen meaningful growth in private investment, job creation, and collaborative initiatives that contribute to the long-term vitality of the community. Bay Future has also continued to build strong relationships with public and private sector partners, ensuring that the region remains well-positioned for sustainable economic progress.

The Bay Future Board of Directors will begin the process of selecting the next President & CEO to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of leadership. The organization remains focused on its mission of driving economic opportunity and enhancing quality of life in Bay County.

Board Chair Eric Tankersley expressed gratitude for Jim Reaume’s leadership, noting: “Under Jim’s guidance, Bay Future has achieved remarkable progress and is in an excellent position for continued growth. We thank Jim for his vision, dedication, and commitment to our community.”
