Michael Rogers is Vice President of Communications for the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM). He is responsible for SBAM’s non-marketing communications outreach, including the Focus on Small Business member magazine, news media relations and audio/video programs. He also contributes to SBAM’s website, social media, and email member communications.

Under his leadership, SBAM has won numerous state and national communications awards, including a Michigan Society of Association Executives 2010 First Place Diamond Award for SBAM’s website and 2011 First Place Diamond Award for SBAM’s e-newsletter. Michael hosts Business Next and This Month in Small Business Technology and co-hosts This Month in Small Business on the Michigan Business Network.

Michael’s background includes hosting and producing radio news programs broadcast daily across the state and hosting TV talk shows. He has a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and owned and operated a small business in Holt, MI, with his wife Jennifer for twelve years.
