A 37-year marketing & communications veteran, Lorri is the founder and CEO of Edge Partnerships with offices in Lansing and Marquette. She began her career as a community journalist and made the switch to public relations for the Michigan House of Representatives’ Communication Office. During her seven-year tenure at the state House, she served as Communications Director and, later, as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House, the highest House staff position.
Among her many professional awards and recognitions, Lorri has earned the PACE Maker of the Year award, the highest honor bestowed by the Public Relations Society of America’s Central Michigan Chapter, and 2015 Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Association of Michigan. Edge is a 2025 Michigan Women-Owned Business of the Year, Michigan Top 50 Company to Watch and among Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S. She also is an Athena Award winner for organizational excellence.
At the peak of the COVID pandemic, Lorri presided as board chair of the Small Business Association of Michigan, the state’s largest organization representing the interests of 30,000 small- to mid-size businesses. In 2023, she was named state volunteer president for AARP Michigan. She also serves on the SBAM Foundation and Michigan Chamber Board of Directors.
Her love of Lansing, MI, is reflected weekly as she hosts Discover Greater Lansing which appears Fridays at 9 a.m. on WLNS, WLAJ and ELAJ TV stations.
Lorri resides in Delta Township, MI, with her husband, Chris. Together, they have a daughter, Sophia, and granddaughter Aaliyah.
