Join us for the community celebration of the construction of the Holmes and Pleasant Grove Neighborhood Center on Tuesday, July 14th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm!

Celebrate the community and the work that got us here, and see all the good things happening across Southwest Lansing. The day will be full of food, fun, and entertainment! The event is FREE and open to everyone. RAIN OR SHINE! FREE PARKING!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• 3:30pm-4:15pm – Short formal program with local and state leaders and stakeholders scheduled to speak – the public is welcome!
  
  

• 4:30pm-7:00pm – FREE FOOD & LIVE MUSIC – Bring the family for a casual evening and visit community information booths showcasing the great things going on in Southwest Lansing!
  
  Kids’ activities include a project to build and take home from Home Depot, coloring books from Homebuilders, and chances to add to a community art display on the construction fence!
  
  

• 4:30pm-6:30pm – FREE SITE TOURS – Sign up for an overview of the site layout, amenities, and features, as well as the historical connection to Malcom X! First-come, first-served. PPE will be provided for safety!
  
  

• 5:30pm – Community speakers, live entertainment, and a short introduction to the Lansing Growth Fund
  
  Food and beverage provided by local neighbors La Mulata Restaurant,
  517 Coffee, Quality Dairy, 1910 Market, and the South Lansing Farmers Market – while it lasts!
  
  Help us gauge crowd size and get a headcount for refreshments!
