Thirty-five years of banking experience has served Ann Marie Mehlum, Associate Administrator, of the Small Business Association (SBA) Office of Capital Access well. Jeffrey catches up with her right after she delivered a keynote address on Friday, July 24, in Detroit, at the Great Lakes Lenders Conference 2015.
She shares insight on that career, the value of the experiences with this annual conference, and then goes into her department at the Small Business Administration, where she oversees SBA’s loan guarantee program, including the 7(a) and 504 programs that help make capital available to small businesses. Mehlum then briefly covers her talking points from that message which closed out this year’s event.
