Small Business makes up a big part of the economy and for that perspective Chris spent some time with Rob Fowler, President and CEO of SBAM, the Small Business Association of Michigan. Fowler notes how the Mackinac Policy Conference is always an interesting intersection of business and politics, this is right where SBAM lives. SBAM’s role is to both explain business to the government and government to the business community. He reflects on what the big issues are right now. Energy and the ongoing energy policy is a big issue being tackled at this time.
