Pay Starts at $15/hour; Advancement Encouraged, Training Provided 

EATON RAPIDS, MI – As unemployment claims remain at historic highs in Michigan and federal pandemic aid is ending, one manufacturing firm is looking to staff up – and fast! 

Magnesium Products of America, a global manufacturing firm in Eaton Rapids, is looking to hire 74 full-time positions available throughout various shifts. New hires will be fully trained and encouraged to apply for other higher-training/higher-skilled roles within the facility upon 60 days of successful employment. Jobs in manufacturing historically offer one of the fastest tracks to comfortable, middle-class careers. 

Starting pay is $15/hr. The company is looking to fill positions in all shifts, 7 days/week. 

Current Magnesium employees who bring in candidates receive a $400 bonus through the company’s “Friends and Family” program.

The nearly 100 full-time positions being offered by Meridian Magnesium come as the current federal pandemic unemployment benefit of $300/week is expected to end soon. The $600/weekly federal pandemic benefit ended in July,
