Gaylord Chamber | Chamber This Week – January 20 2021

We have some fresh snow on the ground! Have you been enjoying our beautiful area? There are a lot of things to do outdoors and indoors too: bowling, yoga, swimming, ice skating, visiting Call of the Wild with the kids, winter rafting and of course snowshoeing and skiing! There’s something for everyone!

We want to welcome our newest Member:
Lakes of the North Association is a private/residential Community located halfway between Gaylord, MI and Mancelona, MI on 10,000 mostly forested acres. Members of the Association can partake in many amenities including two beach houses, indoor pool facility with gym, winter sports area with groomed cross-country ski trails and ice-skating rink and campground. North Central Michigan College Department of Corporate and Community Education is offering a series of free financial classes led by Bill Hansen from Edward Jones. The series will be presented via Zoom on Tuesdays, February 2nd-23rd and will feature these topics: Rules of the Road, Retirement by Design, Time Matters: A Woman’s Retirement Outlook, and What Happens When the Paychecks Stop.  For a full list of Lifelong Learning classes, click here.
