Foster Swift | Firm Welcomes New Chief Operating Officer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Foster Swift Collins & Smith is pleased to announce Cheryl Coutchie has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Coutchie succeeds Terry Blakely, who is retiring after 18 years in this role with the firm.

Coutchie joins Foster Swift with years of experience in the legal industry, previously serving in the roles of Director of Human Resources and Director of Pricing & Process Improvement.

As COO, Coutchie will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations at the firm. Coutchie received her Masters of Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
