Chris talks with Dr. Phil Knight, executive director of the Food Bank Council of Michigan. Dr. Phil, host of MBN’s Leadership Low Down, starts the conversation talking about leadership. He was trained under John Maxwell and his EQUIP Leadership® program. Phil explains how he was mentored personally and professionally and how that training and mentoring helped him develop into a leader. He shares John Maxwell’s description of leadership, “leadership is influence, nothing more and nothing less.”
