(FLINT, Mich., March 22, 2021) – The Flint Promise Scholarship Program is hosting a virtual informational session this weekend for graduating seniors, parents, school counselors and interested community members. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, on Facebook LiveandYouTube Live.

“The Flint Promise scholarship is an investment in the future of Flint,” said James Avery, director of Education & Training at the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, which administers the scholarship program. “Not only does the scholarship help students financially but it also provides them with a support system.

“It is a great opportunity for local students to get a quality education at three outstanding institutions located right here in Flint, whether it’s Mott Community College, Kettering University or the University of Michigan-Flint.”
