
Dr. Bobby Mukkamala to deliver keynote at Flint & Genesee Group’s Annual Meeting
The Flint & Genesee Group will host its 2026 Annual Meeting on March 25, 2026. With the theme “Partnering with Purpose,” the program will reflect on the power of partnership to navigate new opportunities and changing landscapes for the betterment of Flint & Genesee.
The event will also feature a keynote from Bobby Mukkamala, MD, a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon and president of the American Medical Association.

Genesee County stakeholders host virtual town hall to showcase benefits of job-creating project, answer questions
The Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance hosted a virtual community meeting with local leaders and business owners to provide information about ongoing work to attract a job-creating project and answer questions about the Advanced Manufacturing District (AMD).
Nearly 2,000 nearby residents attended the hourlong event on Wednesday evening that included an update on the Economic Alliance’s work to develop a turnkey site at the AMD and attract a project that would invest $2 billion and create 2,000 jobs.
More Flint students will have the opportunity to pursue higher education thanks to the National Basketball Association Foundation
The Flint Promise Scholarship Program continues to extend its services to students who live and graduate from high school in the city of Flint, thanks to a generous grant from the National Basketball Association (NBA) Foundation. These grant funds will help the program sustain college success coaching, expand support into the summer, and strengthen outreach strategies.
“Flint Promise was established to provide an opportunity for students in Flint who may not have otherwise been able to move on to higher education,” said Brianna Mosier, executive director of Flint & Genesee Education & Talent. “We are grateful to the NBA Foundation, as well as the Detroit Pistons, for providing this support to help keep our program going and growing.”
