This is the first of two AAA-Walmart stores in the United States; the other is in Florida
PETOSKEY, Mich., (June 2023) – AAA-The Auto Club Group announced a new partnership with Walmart today. The Auto Club Group is opening a new retail branch inside the Walmart Supercenter at 1850 Anderson Road in Petoskey.
This is the first of two AAA-Walmart branches in the United States. The other is in Florida. Select AAA products and services are available at the Petoskey location, including insurance, membership, travel, virtual passport photos, and more.
The Auto Club Group hosted a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday. The event was open to the public. It included many business and community leaders, AAA members, and Walmart customers. AAA’s Michigan Field Vice President David Campbell cut the ribbon.
“We are excited to offer our members this convenient new way of doing business with AAA,” said Campbell. “About 20 percent of Walmart customers are already AAA members, and we believe this new location enhances our ability to best serve our existing members while also gaining new ones.”
ACG is leasing space at the front of the Walmart Supercenter to make it easier for members to conduct their AAA business while shopping. The grand opening event featured special savings, refreshments, prize drawings, and a grand prize 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise.
